The Chair in Photonics chaired and organized the international conference IS-PALD (International Symposium on Physics and Applications of Laser Dynamics) at the City Hall of Metz. Over three days (November 20 to 22, 2019) this conference brought together more than 60 of the leading laser specialists from Europe, Asia and the United States. The Chair in Photonics welcomed the chief editor of the prestigious journal Nature Photonics, Oliver Graydon, who awarded the prize for the best contribution by a student.
